Area residents are invited to join the staff and trustees of the Churdan public library in “Celebrating Libraries Rock” with a midsummer evening of music trivia, good food and good company Saturday, Aug. 11, in the Churdan city park.
Trivia and conversation will take place in the shelter house, along with a meal of maid-rites, coleslaw, chips and bars. The sing-along version of the movie “The Sound of Music” will be shown at 7 pm in the community room.
In the event of rain, the meal will be served in the community room. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
